How to use
Undiluted peppermint is never an option: it may irritate skin and mucous membranes. For aching spots, blend 3 drops into 10 ml of coconut or sweet almond oil and massage it in; for a headache, dab a drop mixed in a teaspoon of carrier oil onto your temples and neck. Mornings call for the diffuser; for easier breathing, add it to a bowl of warm water. Avoid getting it in your eyes, and don't use it on children under 6.
With other products
Mint and peppermint are two different oils: mint smells milder, while peppermint is stronger and sharper. Combine it with lavender for a balance of calm and freshness. In a massage blend, Lury Professional Neutral makes a good base without scent.
